Problem is people don't read it; misinterpret it; or are not sure how to use it. Listen Up Personal Trainers & Fitness Enthusiasts Do you train clients? Do you know what keeps your clients coming back? If you said results, you are damn right.

Why? Most of the information on low back pain is generalizations. Low back pain is different for everyone because we all have different pain tolerances. Without definitive imaging and diagnosis, doctor visits amount to nothing more than "stay off of it or try to rest" .

More and more people suffer from low back pain because they cannot understand or fix the problems that are causing it.

Exercising with debilitating pain is detrimental to your conditioning, strength levels, and most of all, your confidence! Haven't you always wanted to add one more plate to the bar before a set of squats? Or maybe, you wanted to include some lunges into your program? These small feats have crossed your mind, but you always seem to hold back because of that weird feeling in your back? That "twinge" that never seems to go away means there may be something wrong or you aren't doing something right.

If they don't workout regularly, they will not achieve their results--which means lost business for you! Do you enjoy working out? Exercise is great for getting leaner, stronger, and feeling better.

The problem with that advice is, low back sufferers become more sedentary, depressed, and disconnected from family and friends.

The only thing that guarantees results in fitness is not a magic pill... it is consistency. The more consistent someone is with an exercise program, the more results they obtain. Are you nodding your head yet? Now, guess what is one of the most common reasons why a client would stop being consistent with his/her exercise routine? Pain or injury.

Some low back pain is serious...some is mere discomfort. Some low back pain is acute...and some cases are chronic lasting for years that ultimately steal quality from your life.

Did you know that Americans suffer from lower back pain more than any other orthopedic problem? Low back pain is the cause of the most days off from work and the most missed workouts.

In a society that is increasingly becoming more dependent on painkillers and other medications; no one is taking the effort to learn more about low back injuries.

As a personal trainer, wouldn't you want to learn more about this enemy? This condition becomes your enemy because it prevents YOUR clients from reaching their goals and your business depends on that! As a personal trainer, it is your RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that all of your clients must strengthen the core and evade low back injuries to keep consistently training towards their goals.

Do you know someone that doesn't participate in many activities because of low back pain? Are they happy-campers or "Debbie-downers" ? Truth is, there is plenty of research on low back injuries.
